I had argument with my examiner after being treated unfairly?

Hi everyone, I’m a 19M BTech student.
An incident happened during my preliminary exams. I completed my paper before the exam ended, and since I still had free time left, I started sketching on the question paper. Drawing when I get bored is a habit of mine, and I’ve done it many times before. Until now, no examiner had ever scolded me for it.
But this time, the examiner came up to me and started talking to me very rudely. I got angry, but I knew that if I reacted badly or used harsh words, it would only create more problems for me. So, I tried to reply calmly and respectfully.
However, he became even more aggressive and told me to come with him to the HOD’s office. I stood up and walked out of the exam hall with him. According to the rules, we have to remove our shoes before entering the exam hall, so I was barefoot at that time. Since the HOD’s office was around 150 meters away, I politely asked him if I could wear my shoes, but he arrogantly refused.
At that point, I started feeling angry. Other teachers were passing by, and instead of correcting the examiner’s behavior, they also began blaming and scolding me.
During the argument, the examiner raised his voice and tried to threaten me by saying he would file a copy case against me. He even raised his hand as if he was about to hit me, but stopped because other teachers were present there.
Then he called the HOD and claimed that I was creating a scene and refusing to cooperate.
When the HOD arrived, I explained everything that had happened, but she also seemed more focused on defending the examiner instead of understanding my side. She said I was overreacting and tried to convince me that walking barefoot was not a big issue and that I shouldn’t have a problem with it. She even started giving strange examples to justify it.
I explained that if someone had dropped a pin or any sharp object on the floor and I got injured, then who would be responsible? But instead of understanding my point, she tried to make me look immature, as if I didn’t know anything. She didn’t even understand that I was only using the pin as an example. She tried to joke about it, but I was completely serious at that moment.
I also mentioned how the examiner had threatened me with a copy case and almost tried to hit me. The examiner then tried to cover up his behavior by accusing me of lying.
In the end, the HOD asked me to apologize to the examiner for “creating a mess.”
At that point, I just wanted to leave and avoid seeing their faces anymore, so I agreed and walked away from the situation.
The only reason I managed to handle the situation properly was because I kept my voice low, avoided using disrespectful language, and stayed calm throughout the entire incident.
This experience honestly made me feel disappointed in the Indian education system, especially with older-generation teachers who believe they are always right. Whenever a student questions their behavior or actions, they immediately assume that the student is the one with bad manners.
