How to improve fundamentals while dedicating most of your art time to fun stuff?

Spent most of my highschool years trying to improve my fundamentals and get technical skill because I wanted to be a professional artist in some compacity. I went to an art program for one year and stopped going for multiple reasons and no longer want to pursue art as a job.

I still draw, about 1-3 hours a day I say. But I've decided that I want most of my art to be dedicated to fun stuff and personal projects.

I know you get some form of improvement by just drawing what you want, but I also do have many aspects I want to improve (Colour, backgrounds, figure drawing skills, etc) . But I also don't really want to dedicate much time to the grind aspect of it anymore.

Is there any way I can dedicate maybe a small amount of time to improving and still see some form of techinical growth? Like maybe 15 minutes a day or a big chunk of time like once or twice a week or something. If so, what would be the best way of doing that? Books, videos courses, anything online, just drawing from reference? What would you reccomend?
