There should be an option to declare martial law during wars, that makes you able to pass any law in an instant temporarily.

Title. I always feel so hands off during wars, and I'm not talking about microing units, but in the political and economical side.

Imagine that I'm a politically and economically liberal country, which suddenly gets declared on. I have professional army and little authority. I suddenly get declared war by russia/germany/france/britain/us/china... any of the great powers, and they have mass conscription.

During the time my interest groups are done discussing if it's a good idea to recruit more soldiers to defend my borders against a massively superior foe, I'm literally being annihilated in the front.

There should be an option to enact exceptional temporary measures during wars, and revert back when the war is over or face political consequences.

I have several problems with the UI

Hi. I want to share some complains I've got regarding Vicky 3 UI that I've been holding this whole time.

The companies UI is terrible. I have to scroll a ton just to look at the available companies and the potential ones through a very small side screen window.
I would prefer a pop up window in the middle of the screen.

The military UI is awful too, due to the same problems as the companies tab. It's too small for the size of each individual army.

Since you need to watch the map when interacting with the army UI, instead of making the tab bigger, I would decrease the size of each army formation, as well as adding quick visual information regarding it's location and stationing, as well as adding "tooltip-like" buttons for their mobilization options, instead of having a whole other tab for mobilization, which personally I find rather annoying.

Also, why does the law tab need to take the whole screen? It's one of the few tabs that I would actually decrease in size into a side tab, since it is already divided in categories.

The buildings tab, it also suffers from the same problems as the army or companies tab. Too much important information compacted into a small side tab. I would make it the size of the laws tab for more confortable use.

I could arguably say the same for the culture/society/trade tabs, but I do not use them as often as to have something to complain about for the moment.

These complains comes from the fact that I personally really dislike scrollable windows unless necessary, and keeping information compacted into a side tab even when performing actions in which you don't necessarily need to see the map simultaneously annoys me greatly.

I prefer a ledger style form of presenting this sort of information, since it's been tons of times in which I forget about certain features of the game since they remain hidden within the UI, and those which I rememember about I have to scroll through a small side tab.

I absolutely adore your game paradox, but the biggest problem I have with it is not it's content or gameplay but rather it's accesibility, which should be the biggest priority by far in these kind of games with such complexity.

Tooltips were a massive step towards the good direction, I would even go further and make it so that if you click the tooltip when it's already frozen in the screen you can access the tab which the tooltip is referring to.

Anyways I hope I have explained myself properly, I'm not much of a writer myself but I wanted to air my concerns with this matter since this is my biggest gripe with the game.

I would love to see an Inflation mechanic

Title.

Man I've maxxed the US economy all the way to 1936 so many times and my only chokepoint are just goods shortages.

Now I don't fully understand how inflation irl actually works but I bet it has to do with a lot more than that.

Inflation goes hand in hand with the economy, after all...

I find Eu5 bureaucracies far more interesting than Vic3 institutions

Title. With the new Eu5 update they added bureaucracies, in which you receive 3 different modifiers each. A negative one if you fail to invest in them, a neutral one that you always receive, and a positive one which scales the more you invest in it. There are also a wide range of bureaucracy types you can choose from, too.

I find it more interesting than Vic3 institutions, which are, for the most part, flat modifiers, in which no real consequences occur if the institution is not properly funded.

The only malus you get is when you fail to meet the bureaucratic capacity when funding institutions, but those doesn't really represent a poorly funded healthcare or police force I would say.

What's your opinion on this?
