Hey all,
Was wondering if people would share optimal card setups for HCOL cities. New grad looking to get a card, have a decent credit score. Not opposed to an annual fee, can definitely hit spending requirement for a SUB as i have some stuff i need to buy.

I will mostly be spending on food / restaurants in NYC (i estimate 300+ a week) as my company will reimburse most of it. travel will also be a factor for work (maybe 2 trips a quarter?, domestic) also reimbursed so can choose any airline (i think delta or united but havent decided yet).

Has anyone figured out what the best setup is for this spending breakdown? no gas, limited groceries, etc. Would a straight cash back card be better?

Was eyeing the Amex Gold for the 4x on dining and groceries and the robinhood gold (still waitlisted). Anything I am missing? Posting this as I couldn't find anything about first cards for new grads in this type of spending situation.
