i'm planning to move to the s26 ultra, but i'm stuck trying to decide when to pull the trigger.

i've been checking the samsung galaxy s26 trade-in value for my current galaxy phone and i'm wondering if the launch period is usually the best time to upgrade or if better trade-in offers tend to show up later. i've seen people mention getting surprisingly good deals during certain promotions, while others say the best offers are always right around release.

for those of you who have upgraded to previous ultra models, what was your experience? did you trade in at launch or wait a few months? were you happy with the value you got for your old device?

also curious what everyone's strategy is. do you trade in every generation, every few years, or only when samsung offers a trade-in deal that feels too good to pass up?

i used to think back pain was just one of those things you deal with as you get older, but lately it’s been happening almost every morning and it’s getting annoying. it’s not even sharp pain, just that stiff, heavy feeling in the lower back that takes a while to go away
