How did they even manage to get this level of battery

i've never used an ultra before, I had the s22 base model, switched to s24 base model, then last year I tried the flip 7. I loved the flip but the camera was just average, however because I wanted to get the best camera because i've gotten into taking more photos lately. I opted for the s26 ultra on release earlier this year. the battery was obviously amazing from the start, but today I was just doom scrolling from home while "working remotely" now i'm about to take a shower n get ready for bed then I got curious so I checked my battery usage and holy crap. I was abusing my phone today and yet, 9 hours of screen on time at max brightness and QHD after 4 months since i got this phone? here's the thing, I don't even normally use my phone this much in one day, but the fact that it packs enough juice for me to blast this thing to the absolute limit and I still got 3hours left remaining before I even turned on the battery saver mode is just beyond ridiculous lol. i've never had battery issues with any of my previous models but this is like, next level extreme efficiency.

Torras Q3 Spin Case

Found this on Amazon US and they have this special
color (Light Blue) that I like. I hope they also had this color for their Q3 Air case. 🩵

Since this phone is capable of so much, what are some things people use it for that actually utilize close to its full potential in terms of processing power?

Other than the basics like the camera, recording video, gaming, etc., what are some things people use this phone for that really push it to its limits? I want to use the power I paid for but tbh I'm not sure where to start.

Obviously the speed at which things are processed is beautiful...but what are some of your most CPU-intensive things you use this phone for?

Traded in my 2 year old S24Ultra for a S26Ultra for double the storage 😆

It's been a while since I've used a magnetic case for my magnetic phone stand but here we are again! :) my S24Ultra also has a fault pen spring that I never noticed until much later so I'm happy to have a proper working one now. I went with a clear case from Amazon that didn't have a camera lip raise ledge thing at the bottom camera so my accessory can fit properly.

Why average user cant see how bad display is in s26u

Hi, the display is bad and it is a fact, but for some reason there so many users who defend it with their lives and saying screen is perfect.

Fake 10bits

PWM crazy bad

Half of pixels are directional that give you very bad view angles

It is the worst display on the market? NO
Ii is the most perfect display? NO

Why it is so difficult to accept that your device is not perfect?

To people who got eye strain/headaches from the s26u screen but kept it: Did it ever get better?

Hello, I bought the phone earlier today and discovered that I suffer from the screen issues. That is, the screen looks very pixelated to me even with the privacy display turned off, and it triggers eye strain and headaches after my usual use of reading books/comics in bed. I didn't have the same issue with my s7, s21u, and my mum's honor magic 8 lite.

I wanted to return it but my phone operator doesn't allow returns, only replacements with the same model in the case of defects. (I'm in Bulgaria)

So I'm basically stuck and starting to consider selling it second hand to recoup whatever cost I can, but I'm hoping to avoid that if there's a chance it'll get less difficult to use the device.

Coming from a Pixel 8 Pro

I had bought a pixel 8 pro on launch day in October 2023 and it had been a good phone but I had some problems with it. Specifically regarding performance and battery I was not happy. Decided to take the plunge and join the Galaxy gang and I am very happy so far. First impressions are way better than what I had experienced with my pixel. The smart AI features that I was expecting to miss from the pixel, I'm surprised to see most of them being present on the Galaxy as well.

Screen Defect?

Hi everyone, I just bought the S26 Ultra and notice this just on one corner of the screen, there is no screen protector. Should I be worried?

Smartphone Heat-Development under load and Performance-throttle

Hey everyone, i would like to ask if some of you experience the same "issue?" as myself.

We all know the summer heat has its effect on our smartphones and heat limits their performance, but i have to say the heat-development these days when processing larger files or processes, results in the phone getting so hot, that it starts to hurt holding it.

I checked whats the temps of my smartphone in idle and its very cool, but durring the mentioned high-load it reaches up to100°C on the CPU and you feel it on the smartphone too. Sure it can cool off (sort of) to under 50°C in 10-15s after the processing is completed, but still this is getting very uncomfortable, even with a case around it.

My question would be, do you all experience the same, or are their ways to limit the temperatures durring that load (loss of performance is ok)?

Oh and the temps shown here are from a S25 Ultra.

Samsung has my phone and my money. What should I do?

I ordered a Galaxy S26 Ultra + Galaxy Buds4 bundle on May 26. Samsung never delivered the Buds, so I returned the phone. Samsung confirmed they received it and completed the return, but I have received $0 in refunds.

My bank confirmed there are no issues with my debit card or account. Samsung has been "escalating" my case for weeks, and even the Executive Office hasn't resolved it.

I'm currently using a friend's phone because I can't afford another one until Samsung refunds me.

Has anyone experienced this? Would filing complaints with the BBB, FTC, or pursuing legal action actually help?

iPhone vs. Samsung

I need advice. I’ve been with Apple since I was in Middle School. I’ve been seriously thinking about switching to the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, but I’m so used to IPhone 😭 I want a change but I’m scared because everyone around me has an Apple IPhone besides my parents and my husbands parents ☠️ what are your thoughts/ recommendations? If you had an iPhone your whole and switch, how did you feel? Looking for any advice ❤️

Network operators switching bugged on roaming France

S26 Ultra Belgium not connecting to roaming networks in France. Not switching automatically to best networks. Showing duplicate networks.

Poor network detection and switching.

Reset APN, reset networks not fixed it.

Anyone same poor experience when roaming in other countries?

Using 5G network mode

4 Physical 'Dips' in my S26 Ultra Display. What are they? Should I be concerned?

The other day, I noticed four distorted 'dips' on the right side of my S26 Ultra's speaker grille. The display dips are only visible under intense light and are harder if not impossible to see when the screen is on. As such, they do not seem to affect the display itself, only the reflections catching off the AMOLED panel.

Around the same time, I have also noticed two extremely dim stuck pixels that are white in color. I can only see them against a pure black background in complete darkness.

I do not know if these dips have always been present, but I've been very gentle with my phone and have never dropped it. On top of that, I have only had it for a little over two months, so I'm inclined to believe their a defect. Still, I would like to know what the dips are and if they are indicative of a larger issue. I know my phone is still within warranty, but if the dips are benign and won't impact my phone in the long run, then I'd rather not deal with the trouble.
