Why is nobody talking about Stormblast Bolt?

The more I look into this skill, the more broken it seems. It basically works like a crossbow version of Lightning Rod that can potentially one-shot every boss in the game.

Stormblast Bolt is extremely powerful because it allows you to stack multiple bolts on the ground and detonate them all at once for massive burst damage.

Each use of the skill fires 3 bolts, and you can have up to 30 active bolts at the same time.

When detonated, each bolt deals a huge amount of explosion damage:

Level 20: 470% Attack Damage per bolt

470% × 30 bolts = 14,100% Attack Damage

Level 30: 989% Attack Damage per bolt

989% × 30 bolts = 29,670% Attack Damage

And this is before factorin in additional scaling.

Curious to hear what other people think.

This is a Titan build using Earthquake with passive investment into reduced duration, which allows the aftershock to trigger almost instantly.

From the recent patch notes, Earthquake appears to have received a slight damage buff overall, which makes this setup actually quite interesting going into 0.5.

However, there are a few important changes in how I’m approaching it in 0.5.

Since Time of Need likely no longer works as before, the original setup using Dreamer Sceptre doesn’t seem necessary anymore.

Because of that, I’m considering two directions:

Dual mace setup → for maximum damage.

Shield setup → for more survivability, especially for multiple boss encounters.

For sustain, I’m currently thinking about using Thirst of Kitava node, since there doesn’t seem to be any explicit nerf mentioned in the patch notes affecting it.

This could potentially replace the sustain loop that was previously supported by the old setup.

👉 Do you think this build is still viable, or will it eventually fall off in 0.5 endgame?

Would love to hear feedback or anyone who has tested similar setups.
