HUD issue in Ohio

I moved in April 2026 the gas man came out to turn on my gas but he couldn’t because of venting issues so he tagged it. Well I thought the issue was fixed until I smelled an unknown chemical smell. I checked outlets and happen to check near furnace and the tags were still there( this is late April and I made sure the property manager gotten the paperwork from Gas company) the maintenance man was supposed to make me a door with the vent in it or make the door himself. He never did fix it told me to leave the door open. My neighbor is loud so now I’m getting disturbed due to her loud music.

So this unknown chemical smell becomes worse late April I thought I was going to pass out. Dizzy nausea and eyes bothering me felt like glass in my eyes. The Neighbors noise grew louder in fact I measured the sound and the measure compared to a vacuum cleaner at 4am. So I called the cops 4x due to noise disturbance Neighbor threatened me reported that as well to Police.

Meanwhile I feel worse so I left chose to sleep in my car because overall apartment isn’t safe at all! Well I stopped at the Property managers office to inform them the gas company turned off the Hot water tank because Hot water was tagged over a month!
Well that’s when I found out maintenance doesn’t have a spare key so they could not gain access yet the other day I gotten a text confirming two of my work orders were completed. Interesting how could that be without a key? Yet the maintenance man stated he couldn’t fix the hot water tank and that I had to wait until Monday morning.

This seem like such a set up so I have legal aid as well as another source I reached out to, to let them know it was suppose to be fixed within 24 hours. I am fed up with HUD and this properly manager is wrong! They lied about having a key all of this time. I should not have been placed in that apartment as well. The hot water tank wasn’t working properly all of this time. Anyone ever gone through something like this? I feel overwhelmed and all

Any advice or support would be greatly valued thank you!
