For People asking that their pre ug gaps is a straight no for top tier colleges , I myself have gap years (3) and Psych background I converted IIM K LSM only because I have low percentile and some new iims raipur,rohtak,ksp. We might struggle with the placement and get into low paying jobs but it's definitely better to have a opportunity of job with mba atleast because there aren't many job for non engineers with just UG (except bcom and economics?, Also government exams is another mess.
