Crystallization in Muscovite, Special Find? Please Tell Me What You Think!
Hey all! In my private studies, Ive found some strange green muscovite samples in a pegmatite included with many garnets, and when I placed these samples under a microscope, I saw some very strange reaction haloes and rims, and even some replacement textures? Is this typical for pegmatite? Unless its gone under some fluid-driven process? I thought you would find these pictures fascinating, if nothing else, take a look:
The muscovite is also very green, maybe hinting at chromium?
