In the end, it looks like White changed her mind and admitted she's wrong, so she now changed the way she behaved... But what if her belief never changed and she still believes the gems must follow the most perfect gem? In the finale, Steven overpowered her, demonstrated that her beliefs were incorrect, and showed that she was not as perfect as she had thought. But he did it by forcing her to face reality in the most undeniable way possible... But he also proved he's stronger than her. What if White Diamond never truly changed but just now sees Steven as the perfect gem all gems must follow? She now knows she's not perfect and knows Steven is stronger than her, so maybe she didn't truly change and just stayed loyal to her belief that the others must follow the big boss? I guess we cannot know until the new spinoff comes out. Or maybe we will never know. Just wanted to share my thoughts.
