If the Diamonds all were formed at the same time, why is Pink casted as the child of the 4?

In the art book it shows all of their gems emerging around 20,000 years ago roughly, so why is Pink treated as a child and acted as if she was significantly younger and not ready for the responsibilities of a diamond? Even if she was the last to form of the 4, she would still be over 10 thousand years old (pre gem war and colony) and was shown to possess immense power like the other Diamonds. Despite this, she was shunned from the privileges of the others and more kept around as a mascot than anything of true substantial authority.

Whats more is that Gems believed they are incapable of change and are born (well, emerged) perfect and already matured, especially in era 2 with the absence of a child stage so even if she was the last to form she should been viewed with the same maturity as the other Diamonds.

Garnet never asking questions

Apparently this was a very important piece of the lore, Garnet never asks questions because Rose told her to never question anything. I never noticed this until it was pointed out online, I probably didn't notice because the early seasons had Garnet asking questions when that part of her character wasn't decided yet.

Pearl Vs Jasper

I think it’s a shame we never got to see pearl get a chance to really fight jasper. I always love when they emphasize that pearl is more of a tactical fighter more than a brawler like a lot of other gems because she is a pearl and most of her combat skills were learned and not inherent. Jasper on the other hand is just this huge strong prodigy and getting to see pearl have to fight an uphill battle and have to use her mind to win would be an interesting concept. (Like when she went against Sugilite) Honestly she doesn’t even have to win it could be short and undecided but it woulda been cool to see, the rest of the Jem’s got their 1v1 with Jasper and She was the measuring stick for strength for most of the series.

Do you think rose love pearl in a romantic ways yes or no and why for your opinion?

The question is in your personal opinion do you think rose was in love with pearl yes or no and why do you think ways you do your answer can be simple and short or long and detailed your choice honestly.

Blue and Pink's relationship is more uncomfortable than I remembered

Unlike Yellow and White, who made it clear that they saw Pink as immature, Blue genuinely seemed to enjoy spending time with her. She laughed at Pink's silliness, like her pyrite jokes, and appeared to have fun with her. But at the end of the day, she was still a Diamond, and she imposed rules and punishments whenever Pink did something they considered unacceptable. It must have been incredibly painful for Pink to see that the sister who laughed and had fun with her could instantly become just as harsh as the others.

It's also heavily implied that Blue used her powers on Pink, such as forcing her to cry. Being hurt by someone you love is already terrible, but being forced to feel emotions you don't actually feel, and having your own body respond to another person's whims, is genuinely disturbing. Pink lost her physical autonomy at the hands of someone who claimed to love her while insisting that she deserved those punishments.

Blue has always made me more uncomfortable than Yellow, and now I understand why. Yellow is predictable. She never really expects much from Pink and openly treats her like a child. But Blue feels like the kind of person who genuinely enjoys your company and makes you believe she trusts you, only to suddenly turn against you. And somehow, that betrayal hurts even more.

Lapis was totally gonna win right?

If Steven hadn't intervened and made his shield in time, the clones wouldn't have been defeated. And Lapis would won the fight.

What’s an interesting and unconfirmed theory from either show that you consider to be canon?

Do you have a favorite unconfirmed theory that you’ve just accepted as canon?

My Red Diamond Follow up/ Update!!

Okay so I BARELY made any changes to her, Ik 🤷‍♂️. I really wanted to add her outfit bc I didn't really think there was enough detail( especially for a diamond). But I know this still isn't enough. Also ik she still looks like a human, but I'm still trying to find the right shade of red that I want to use for her skin. She is still FAR from finished but this is all I got rn so umm yeaaaa.....😊😊( also I totally forgot to mention that I'm very attached to my art, so that's why it was hard for me to change stuff 😅😅😅😅)

SDCC Zine

Hi all, I'm unpacking from a move and found this zine I got at Comic Con forever ago. I saw a similar post asking if anyone had archived it and I wanted to follow up on that - totally happy to do that if it hasn't been done. I was also going to list on eBay, any idea how much this might be worth (if anything)? Thanks!
