Can we get an anti-AI rule already bruh this is so annoying

I've seen like, ATLEAST 3 ai generated OCs in the last week.. I don't have screenshots of them since I can't find one of them, and the 2nd one got deleted by it's OP after they got flamed for it, but the 3rd one was posted literally like a few minutes before this post and I just saw it

None of them even admit or advertise it either, all 3 of them did not disclose that they were AI and the 2nd one even doubled down with fake layers and a fake sketch bruh, so many people fell for it both times and praised the "art" as if it were real. Not having a rule against AI is flat out just a detriment to the subreddit, it let's AI supporters feel perfectly at home here with absolutely no incentive to leave, so long as they lie about it and try to trick, you which they already do anyway

Why do people hate Connie so much?

I didn’t realize until I recently got back into SU that Connie gets so much hate. I understand it. I really enjoy her character and my biggest complaint would be we didn’t get to see her do more. What are your guys thoughts?(sketch of Connie I’m working one)

Is the human Rose fell in love with the same human that the Zoomen talk about?

I’m rewatching the Human Zoo episodes, and noticed something when one of them started to mention the only time the doors were opened. Could it have been for the human Rose was in love with?
From the small clip of the human we see, you can tell they’ve got very similar outfit to the Zooman, and we have no proof that they only interacted on Earth. I wonder if the ‘hurt’ story comes from the 2 of them, and if it has to do with Rose breaking things off with that human.

Why didn’t Blue Diamond remember Pink Diamond’s Pearl in this scene?

So even if it was brief during Garnet’s retelling of how Ruby and Sapphire met why didn’t Blue Diamond realize that Pink Diamond’s Pearl was defecting and working alongside Rose Quartz? There is no way that the staged shattering of Pink Diamond happened too long ago that Blue Diamond forgot about Pino Diamond’s Pearl.

Some thoughts on Rainbow Quartz

So I was thinking of why Pearl and Rose would "fuse... a lot" and there is the obvious answer that Gems who love one another just like to fuse and be close (duh). That is a given.

But I also think it was special for Pearl and Rose because of what it allowed them to feel.

We know Rose did not like herself. As PInk she saw herself as not mattering to the Diamonds while also being too high up to connect with anyone Else. She was told hundreds of times that she messed things up and made things worse and she internalized It.

We also know Pearl saw herself as pretty worthless on her own. That her only value could come from what she could provide to someone more important than herself.

We also know they could not get the other one to fully abandon that view of themselves. That Pearl and Rose argued about this during the war.

But as Rainbow Quartz, I think they could get the other to see/feel themselves the way they saw them.

Rose saw Pearl as brilliant and full of potential to do anything she set her mind to. Pearl saw Rose as this incredible kind and caring person that brought out the best in herself and others. As as Rainbow they could feel that way about themselves

If you had asked Rose or Pearl alone they probably would have given the other full credit for how far the rebellion got and none to themselves. But as Rainbow they could acknowledge they worked together.

A big point the show makes is that a relationship cannot fix you and nobody's love can force you to love yourself. But someone respecting and loving you obviously helps, and I think Rainbow allowed them to feel respected and loved in a way they never had before her.

Plus, she is a giant hot dancer. Who does not want to be a giant hot dancer?

Does anyone else find Steven’s anatomy just absolutely horrifying?

See, I can handle Steven as he’s drawn in the cartoon, but seeing more detailed fan-art of him, it triggers the “real person” recognition part of my brain, then I get really uncomfortable at how scary Steven actually is… He is literally HALF- of his DEAD MOTHER… (yes irl people with deceased parents are half of their dead parent) But Steven’s mother literally BECAME him.. It’s so terrifying to think about it…
Steven is just so.. uncanny..

Do you guys think that fake/lab made diamonds could exist in SU?

Basically would it be possible for a non-diamond gem/gems be able to gather enough needed energy to make a diamond even if said diamond is not as powerful as the current ones? Basically a Silvally type situation?

(Very last episode!) Why are there only 39 states?

[SPOILERS]

Steven said he wanted to visit "all 39 States", but how can there be only that low of a number?

We've seen a world map, it's ours, and "The United States" have already been directly mentioned as a word, so we know it has to be our world.

Is there any reason why 50 weren't said?

About to start the show first time

I always heard about Steven universe but I've never watched it at all not even clips so I decided to give it a watch this upcoming weekend. Is there anything I show look out for or keep an eye out for or any episodes that stand out? Love to be a part of this fandom and want to learn more about the show.

So I just watched Steven Universe Future for the first time…

**SPOILERS I GUESS**

Btw this is my first post on this sub, hi everyone

So yea I recently binged all of Steven Universe cause that’s what one does, I watched the og series, the movie, and for the first time, all of Steven Universe Future. This discussion will only be on Future since I’m sure the original series and movie already been talked on a lot. When the show originally released, I told myself that this show looked very different from the first and insisted on watching it but something must’ve happened cuz I never got around to it. Fast forward to know I get Hulu for the first time (shocking) and find all Steven Universe content on here and I decided to binge the entire series. I get to to Future which is completely uncharted territory for me. After the movie, it really seemed like all character arcs have been finished so I’m not really sure what the show could have been working up towards. Watching it through, I’d say the first half felt like super episodic, like SU season 1 type of episodic. After immediately watching future like a day or two after finishing the final season the vibes just felt really off. Not to mention like I said earlier, the character arcs for each character already felt finished, so we didn’t really see much of the side characters do much aside from Steven, and maybe Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl. Also the lack of Lapis in this series, the goat is washed (jk). It really wasn’t until the second half of the series where I was getting reeled in. It was really interesting watching Steven go through an existential crisis and seeing how it affected his character and powers. I guess I’d say one reason I enjoyed it is cuz I’m somewhat going through a quarter life crisis myself too lol. I was so anxious seeing every episode go by ending on a sour note watching Steven slowly pushing away others and it all exploding out in the form of the Kaiju monster on episode 19. The final episode definitely was bittersweet, I didn’t expect a dramatic ending but I feel as if it needed just a bit more to add some closure. Overall, I say I enjoyed Steven Universe Future as what it is, a short epilogue series that’s wraps up the story of our main characters. I just wish we had gotten a bit more.
