Desperately need advice/support

Hi guys I’m on day 15 of waking up in full body hives. They are getting worse. I’m currently tapering off prednisone and I just took my last dose today (10 mg) and it cleared them up within ~5 hours. But it happens every time I sleep, no matter how cold I keep the room, how much or little blankets I use, or what I wear to bed. Tomorrow I won’t have the prednisone to fix it so I’m scared. I’m becoming afraid to go to sleep at night. I’m also on Allegra 2 pills twice a day and Benadryl as needed. I guess my question is is there anything I can change about my sleeping arrangements that will help? I’ve changed my sheets and blankets multiple times, but the hives get worse where there’s any pressure or warmth on my body. It is getting so unbearable and I’m unable to do anything until around 3 pm when the steroid kicks in from the morning. Any advice or hope that you guys can give me? My allergist hasn’t been much help and I have no idea what’s causing this. Thank you!

Hives and 40mg prednisone, need advice

Hi everyone! I get hives about once a year and don’t know the cause. This year however I’ve since developed extreme health OCD. I broke out 6 days ago and they’ve been waxing and waning all over my body. I’m on my second dose of 40mg prednisone and I’ve seen some improvement but I’m still getting new hives. Is this normal? I guess I was expecting to not get any new ones after starting the steroid. I’ve been so stressed everytime a new one pops up, I just need to hear your guys experience with prednisone and how fast it helped/ if it did. Thank you guys!
