
Need help with my setup
I've gotten some pretty decent cups with this setup, however, after drinking this everyday for about a week-ish, it kind of just tastes like... lemon juice?
I've tried grinding finer (72 clicks on the k7), different recipes, etc. I've had best results with the James hoffman recipe @ 1:15 ratio, so I've been sticking with that. Any advice on things to try to extract different flavors from these beans? Or is it time to try a different bean? I want something that is more like raspberry and dark chocolate - maybe a medium roast? I'm mostly getting overwhelming acidity from this setup, it tastes somewhere between lemon and tangerine, leaning mostly towards lemon.
Quick note on my water: I have a reverse osmosis machine with a remineralization process built in.
