I have a coworker that has been at the job for at least 4-5 months now, and I have to work with them in close proximity. regulalry smells with bad body odor. wears the same clothes multiple days in a row. to the point where if they go in another smaller room, the smell lingers in there afterwards. Its impacting my ability to do job at this point. at least 3-5 people that i know about have already complained to our direct supervisor(not Hr), and seemingly nothing was done.

is it worth pushing this issue further and bring it to HR? I have ignored it for a long time, hoping it may resolve itself.

you cant fire someone if its a medical condition. but i feel like they at least need to be aware of the problem and address it
