Scales confusing me

Hi all,

I came off mounajro about a month or two ago after losing 7 stone. I am now trying to maintain or even keep losing a bit by healthy eating and exercising.

I'm eating more in volume now as I am a lot hungrier but it's healthy - lots of protein, veg, fruit mostly. (Comparing it to how much I ate on mounajro - it was pretty much one full meal a day.) On the weekend I might have a cheat meal and some cheat snacks oh and I do drink on the weekends sometimes if I go out.

The scale has gone up by a few lbs. It's really knocking my confidence :(

Does it mean that because I'm eating more quantity food, I'm putting on weight even if it's healthy and calories are within maintenance/defecit?

Just writing here to see if anyone has had any successful treatment for their bpd via the NHS, as I for many years have tried to get support through them but have felt continuously dismissed. I have tried CBT but it was not specifically tailored for someone with BPD, moreso for managing anxiety, and it was group CBT. It honestly did nothing for my condition.

I did research and found that DBT (dialectical behavioural therapy) is specifically used to help those with lack of emotional control. I called my GP and asked to be referred for this treatment, but was told I would have to simply self-refer to "time to talk" - the same service that put me in group CBT. I proceeded with this and was basically told by the end of my assessment that they do not offer DBT on the NHS and that my solution is to buy self-help books or pay privately for DBT.

I have been in contact with my GP over the years about my issues but the only thing I've ever gotten were antidepressants.

Now the part I find mind boggling is how every other mental health condition either has medications or specific therapies. For example: bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, schizophrenia... The list goes on. But for those struggling with borderline personality disorder, they're expected to read books about it and or pay tons of money that most do not have on private treatment? How is it fair?

I feel it really needs to be brought to attention, somehow. We are being left to struggle alone if we're not fortunate enough to be able to afford private treatment. I just don't understand it.
