Everybody comments on how fisheyes bend straight lines that don't pass through the center of the frame (in the first photo, those white stepping stones are in a straight line), but one of my favorite things about them is that they keep round things (like drums and drummer's heads! in the second photo) . . . round--no stretching! Despite being crazy wide, this lens is extremely versatile. It's one of my favorites for grabbing unique event photos. On full frame, it'll go from a 180 degree field of view circle at 8mm to 180 degree corner to corner rectangular fisheye at 15mm--that's where I most use it. I have also used it on crop bodies, usually with lens corrections applied, where it can mimic the looks of a 16-24mm rectilinear zoom on full frame.
