1st time at Jones Beach yesterday (review)
I’m a new gay and started exploring gay friendly spaces, and heard a lot about the gay area at Jones and wanted to check them out yesterday
Yesterday was a calm non crowded beach day, and i didnt see too many people (overall, not just gays). I heard the LIRR strike might have to do something with it
I walked for about 20-30 mins and almost hit the “end” where there weren’t many people beyond it (later more people came, further extending the “end”)
During the walk I saw couple old man standing up with their dicks out, or old man getting up and down like a pop up store owner when they see a potential customer passing by.
I saw some people go in and out of the dunes, but didn’t bother to check it out.
This part ruined it for me a bit, I was feeling cute and tanning by myself when these two old creepy guys nearly triple my age, sat near me and started jerking off, and they wouldn’t leave. So I decided to pack up and leave and settle down elsewhere, and when i decided to leave they got up to leave as well, and I tried to keep a HEALTHY distance away. They kept checking back to see what i was up to and where i was going. I settled once I couldn’t see them anymore. Later when I got up to leave for the second time, I realized these men had purposely walked over the dunes into the road and had walked back around behind me and was smiling creepily waving at me.
Overall the beach itself was nice and loved the gay friendliness, but didnt love all the old creepy men.
Im looking to go more frequently this summer and would like make some new friends who’s similar to me in age. Is this a good spot for lot of young gay men or do they like to go elsewhere? Not looking for hookups
