So I am planning to go on a trip for 4 to 5 days with my partner as she is from northeast, and the problem is , I am planning to visit on the first week of August. So I have few places in my mind.

Gangtok , darjeeling, shillong(whole meghalaya)

Can you please suggest to me about the weather in the first week of August so that I can decide which place will be the best and I am willing to face the rain so it's fine with mee and we will be renting scooty so that's also the one of the things I am a little worried about.
