Looking for career advice from people

in consulting, PMO, mining, energy, or industrial projects in Saudi/GCC.

I’m currently working as a consultant in PMO/project management. My background started in geology/mining, then I moved into consulting.
Recently, I’ve gained exposure to JV development, business planning, financial model coordination, legal/regulatory workstreams, RFPs, contractor coordination, mega-project reporting, PPP exposure, BD support, and international company termination/restructuring. (This is all from the client I’m having an offer from)

I’m now considering moving from consulting to the client side directly. The offer is financially stronger, (65%) raise the work would be similar, and the company is a very well-known private holding group with exposure across alot of sectors.

My main concern is that the client side may not have the best long-term stability, although I may be able to negotiate a 2-year binding contract.

Would moving client-side now make my CV stronger in 2–3 years, or would staying in consulting give better market value and flexibility?

Should i move or not?

Would appreciate advice from anyone who has made a similar move.

Need an advice

So basically i work for a well known consulting company not the big 4 but its pretty well known, im a consultant (PMO) and ive been lucky enough to have both the public and private sector experience, ive been working for the past 1+ year in a very well known family holding, they recently got in touch about me joining them, with an almost 60% increase in salary, the problem is that this company is very well known for its high turnover, they terminate people easily, ive witnessed some people, but tbh all those people are either not hard workers or they just work in a sector that will shut down, im 27 years old salary increase will put me and my wife somewhere else, (expecting a baby in 5 months) so any advice on this please?
