Foreign Investors Can Now Buy Property in Saudi Arabia - Huge Opportunity?

With Saudi Arabia opening the door for foreign investors to own property, the real estate market could see significant growth in the coming years.

Think about it—when international demand increases, property values often follow. Those who enter the market early may benefit from this first-mover advantage before prices potentially rise further.

Whether you're looking for a home to live in or an investment with long-term potential, now is worth considering.

If you're curious about where to invest, the buying process, or available opportunities, feel free to DM me. I'm happy to help and answer your questions.

Want to interview new parents in Riyadh

What's the best way to find parents of newborns in Riyadh who would be willing to answer few questions, in an online interview, for a research purpose? I would be willing to send a small token of gift (like Amazon gift cards) to them in the end. But I don't know where to find them.

In the west, I would walk into any baby boutique or nursery and get some parents agree to answer these questions in person, and I know in the middle eastern culture, it can still make people uncomfortable if you request them to answer few questions in public.

I'm looking to interview maximum 12-15 parents. Even if someone from here is willing to volunteer, I'd appreciate it.

Kitchen Cabinets - In need.

Hi everyone!

I recently moved to Exit 8 and I'm looking for kitchen cabinets for my apartment. A colleague mentioned that people who are leaving Saudi Arabia sometimes give away or sell their furniture and kitchen items at very low prices.

Does anyone know where I can find these kinds of listings or if there are any groups, websites, or communities for this? If anyone has kitchen cabinets available or can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!

Compound Tips?

Hi everyone! We’re moving to Riyadh in September with our 3-month-old son.

We're looking for a compound near Al Maseef, where my husband's office will be. We spotted FLOW Granada, but I've seen a few mixed reviews online, particularly about the noise (drifting cars, etc.).

Has anyone lived there or can recommend any other compounds nearby? We’d ideally prefer apartments rather than villas.

So far we've booked viewings at:
• Azure Narjis
• FLOW Granada
• Al Malga Compound Village

Any recommendations or insights would be suuuuper appreciated!

Thank you 😊

Moving to Riyadh

I am moving to Riyadh in the first week of October . I am looking for an apartment studio / furnished.

Hello. Need some advice.

Single, 25Female - Moving to Riyadh soon, looking for options in Olaya or nearby. (Office is in Olaya). Family lives in Jeddah. Particularly looking for serviced/furnished apartments.

  1. should i look for women-only apartment options or normal (parents are prefering women only)

  2. is it more advisable to first live for 1-2days then look around for apartments before committing online?

Range: 2500-3500 max 4000/m sar. \[Is this okay for a furnished aprtment\]

I am particularly looking for layouts where washroom and kitchen are not together..

P.s i have already checked Aqar, Bayut etc. Any other tips would be great.

Moving to Riyadh – Looking for Compound Recommendations

Hi everyone,

I'm a expat, beginning my search for a compound in Riyadh and would really appreciate any recommendations or contacts.

Requirements:

  • 2-bedroom apartment/villa
  • Budget: up to SAR 85,000 per year
  • Suitable for a small young family
  • My mother (60+) will also be living with us, so a quiet, safe, and walkable community with good amenities would be ideal.

Preferred locations:

  • An Narjis
  • Al Yasmin
  • Irqah
  • Al Khuzama
  • Al Faisaliyah
  • Al Khalidiyah
  • Diriyah
  • Hittin

If you know of any compounds within these areas that fit this budget or have any direct contacts for leasing offices or agents, I would be very grateful if you could share them.

Thank you in advance for your recommendations and advice!

I would like to create a photography group in Riyadh. Is it possible?

Sometimes I think Riyadh is a nightmare for a street photographer because the cars are crazy and it's not safe to walk on the streets. Of course, people tend to stay inside because in the daytime it's too hot to walk around.

Anyways, I love film photography and I'm interested to take some photos in Riyadh while working here.

Is there anyone who are interested in photography and would like to do a photo walk or being taken photograph of?

I bring several rolls of film here and would like to use all of them before I leave Riyadh.:)

Connecting in riyadh

Does anyone know like whatsapp groups or how to connect with people in riyadh? Like I’m one of the most extroverted people I know and for the first time I feel like I’m struggling meeting people and none of the apps work especailly this meetup stuff ( I feel like people organize for just the sake of the money and then off)

So if anyone knows the road to connect to people let me know.

Rental Freeze Question

I wanted to check if rents have actually been frozen in Riyadh? Cause I can see rental rates still going up, if the rents are fixed how are they still going up? Has anyone's rent gone up since the rental freeze came in play?
