Honestly at a loss. It’s only been a month. All labs are NORMAL. No auto immune disorders. Nothing wild. All is well. I had the flu back in February which makes it likely to be TE

IVE NEVER experienced anything like this. It’s disheartening. Just stroking my fingers through my hair takes out a number of hairs. Brushing is horrible and showers are horrible. Please tell me I’m not alone. I don’t know a soul who has gone through this.

My dermatologist put me on nutrafol and wants to see me in 2 months. She told me to wait in minoxidil to see if shedding slows down or stops.

I’m so frustrated. I don’t know what my hair will look like next month. I have such little hair and can’t afford to lose anymore

Please tell me I’m not alone. It’s affecting my self esteem :(

I’ve been shedding for a month all over. I’m losing so much hair and I have very little hair to begin with. I’m not sure if I should wait some more and hope it evens out.

ALL my labs are normal. I’ve been tested for everything under the sun including auto immune disorders etc.

I’m taking nutrafol as per my dermatologist. I was diagnosed with TE. I am also taking my daily vitamins and probiotics my diet and exercise is balance and well.

I’m considering minoxidil. I’m scared to start it and shed even more. But I’m scared another month will pass and I’ll be without hair. I have to wash it daily because it gets so greasy since I have so little

I’m feeling all sorts of defeated and I’m holding back tears as I type

I’m going on week 3. The top is week 1 and today is week 3. Still shedding daily in brushes. These picture show brush pre shower, what I lose in the shower and brushing post shower. I shed more during the day just by breathing.

My ferritin is low and I’m correcting it. Otherwise my labs are good. I am getting tested for autoimmune disorders. But for now I am just hoping that the cause was because of the flu I had for a solid 8 days in February. My dermatologist diagnosed me with TE, and recommended nutrafol and cortabestol on my scalp

How long did your shedding last?

And it’s only been 2 weeks since the shedding started. I’m worried I was misdiagnosed. I’m so stressed
Dermatologist diagnosed me with TE. I’ve done all labs and have low ferritin but this isn’t the root cause of my TE. The only theory is the flu b I had back in February that lasted 8 days of high fevers and a weight loss of 7 pounds.
I’ve had low ferritin for years which I’m fixing now.
