Those of you who figured out this bs on your missions, or those of you who didn’t care in the first place, whats the worst thing you did in the field? Drinking, hooking up, etc???
I left when I was 17, before I had the chance to be endowed. Is this widely known and/or apologetically explain in LDS communities?
First of all, the 1982 oral sex ban letter disagrees. Secondly, why are we acting like consent is some revolutionary idea in marriages. Thirdly, who wants their neighbor to be giving them the "green light" to have intimacy with their adult partner?
This is one of the most blatant examples of infantilization I have seen in the LDS church. You're adults for gods sake! You don't need permission from old men!
