Gabs!
Guesses welcome! I’ve sent her results off to Embark! (Due to my indecisiveness, I also have a Wisdom Panel test around here somewhere.) Obviously, German Shepherd is the most popular theory. She is, however, only 35 lbs as a full-grown adult.
The first picture, where she is sitting by the couch, was taken when she was first rescued. The rest are current photos. She is approximately 5 years old. My friend’s son rescued her off of the streets of Odessa, TX, when she was approximately 6 months old. They were best buds for the next 4.5 years. He took a dream teaching/coaching job with a one-hour commute each way. The hours involved in that are rough. He investigated doggy daycare, dog walkers, etc. He unselfishly knew that would be no life for Gabs. So, he brokenheartedly left her here with me, the biggest dog lover he knows, in WI.
