I quit 50mg cold turkey, looking for advice
Hey guys I stopped taking my 50mg of Zoloft about 1-2 weeks ago. I have been on and off a 25mg dose for the past few years and have stopped the 25 abruptly with little to no issue before. I didn’t think twice before stopping this time, I really want to be off of this now.
Anyways I am definitely feeling tight chest, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, mild flu symptoms and general discomfort. I didn’t notice these things until 2 days ago and I can’t tell if I’m just in my head because of reading so many of peoples bad stories on here. (I also took a plan b 4 days ago and am now on my period which I’m sure isn’t helping)
I’m feeling far away from my body and a little scared after reading everyone’s cold turkey stories. It’s hard to get in touch with my doctor and I had done it before. Now I’m looking for someone who has stopped like this and been ok, also how long did withdrawal last for you? How did you feel after?
