First summer riding season here. I rode all winter and had cold weather gear figured out, but now I’m trying to build a good hot weather setup for commuting, interstate riding, and everyday riding.
I picked up this Icon armored compression shirt and really like it so far. For those of you with more experience, what would you wear with it for good protection without dying in the heat?
Do you wear something lightweight over it on the highway? Any recommendations for summer riding pants too?
Already have gloves, boots, and helmet covered.

I rode all winter this year, coldest ride was 26°F.
Honestly everything else held up fine — gear, layers, all of it — but my hands were done. That’s the one thing I couldn’t beat.
I don’t mind spending a little money if they actually work, just don’t want to waste it on something weak.
What heated gloves are you guys running that actually keep your hands warm?
