It makes me wonder if how the dungeon keeps its non-dungeon born NPCs orderly is by giving them just a glint of hope.

I loved that Raul has grown more powerful since we’d last seen him. Do you think he’ll stay at his Mystic level or do you think he gains experience points?
I feel like he’s got to gain experience points or he’ll be outclassed quickly. He’s very powerful now, but already Gustavo 3 (a brute, granted) was too much for him.
Despite Raul being my favorite, a small part could me wishes Donut had chosen to keep Alpha Male Karl. I found him so funny once he joined the deck. He’d make a great Carl decoy!
And yes, I intentionally spell his name as Karl. Being off brand is his whole vibe!
