Hi all, a week ago today I went under the knife for a breast lift with implants (300cc under the muscle). Since then I’ve had recurring amounts of small leakage which I thought was normal, saw the nurse 4 days ago who said my incisions looked great. Today however on a call, my nurse told me that anytime the steri strips are not “white” they must be removed even if they are dry ?! I’m leaking tiny bits constantly under one breast, so that would require me to change several times a day. I’m freaking out and worry I’m on course for infection… unless I expose the area multiple times a day and spend hours changing the strips. How has everyone else on here delt with leaking on (or through) their steri-strips between dressing changes ?!
