01 3500, not to long ago I had my headlights go out. Ultimately I found it to be the headlight wiring shorted out. I don’t know why they shorted out they randomly did it. I replaced the plugs/ harness and a couple fuses and I was able to get the headlights working again. But now when the headlights are on it shows the brights icon like I have my brights on but they are off. And I can toggle the brights on and off and it dosent affect the bright icon on dash
