This whole process has been a doozy. I know, even outside of my YLS acceptance, that I did well (and I am very grateful), but I’ve found myself feeling a weird bit of imposter syndrome around my ultimate YLS success, especially when considering that most of the T6 and a good handful of the lower ranked schools to which I applied weren't all that confident about me—or were outright uninterested. I feel like if YLS saw how I fared across the board, they would be questioning their decision? lol
My biggest takeaway, though, is that you really never know who will connect with or appreciate your story, and that you should not sell yourself short.
Wishing everyone luck with their next steps, and thank you all for being such a source of support throughout this journey.
