Anyone know if there are heart screenings? I went to donate plasma, and the lady there (not a medical professional she proclaimed several times) informed me, a 45 yr old female. Non smoker, non drug user, 130lb, 98 pulse, 130/67, perfect iron 7.9 perfect protien, that she hears a "whoosing" sound of a leaky valve and disqualified me from ever donating. Wtf.

Now I'm freaking out. I run everyday and walk 4.7 miles to work and 4.7 home. I have an outdoor job that I love that is very physically demanding. How TF can I have a heart issue when I have no symptoms, and never have. I don't even have a family history of heart issues.

So, are there any free heart screenings where a Dr can listen and tell me? I don't have insurance. Thanks.
