Just ended a 6 year relationship because of a selfie
Hello everyone happy holidays and eid Mubarak,
So to keep it short I was in a relationship with this girl since highschool (am 23M), and over the last few months i found myself getting into arguments with her because of her social media seflies, we had 2 arguments before, the first time I explained to her clearly why I hate it, the second time she also posted an insta story of her and wrote good morning on it and when i confronted her she lied about having just family members on it, and I came so close to actually breaking things up but she later apologized.
And as for the last argument I had reasons to suspect her so I checked her snap account which i never did since I don't actually use Snapchat, I found her account with more than 11k followers which came as a shock obviously but all i did was actually following the account under a different name and waited until 2 days ago when she posted a selfie( same one she sent me as her bf) wearing make up and doing a kiss emote. And so I called her directly and when i sent her the screenshot she started lying saying it was all a mistake and that she pressed post instead of save (i liked the image so she should have received a notification and still didn't take it down).
And that's how a 6 year relationship ended because of a selfie.
