Brand new M3 bricked within hours of owning it

This happened about a month ago now, but I wanted to share this story anyway and maybe get some advice.

I leased a brand new 26’ M3 Premium RWD at the end of April and drove an hour away to pick it up in Orlando, FL. After driving the hour back, I sat at my apartment for 2 hours, went to class, and by the time I came out of class my car was dead. Not just battery, it was completely bricked.

It would not power on at all, I couldn’t connect my phone to it, I couldn’t even open the doors. After contacting roadside support they couldn’t even access the vehicle, and said they had some warnings showing about the low voltage battery, and that I had to get it towed to the nearest service center.

After waiting for over an hour at night, I got my vehicle towed to the service center. Next day, they couldn’t diagnose the issue, then the next, then the next. It was over a week that my brand new car was in the shop, and everyday they said “tomorrow it will be ready”.

They eventually figured it out, they had to order some part to replace some module, I’m not exactly sure, but it works fine now.

I was wondering if others have had major issues like this and got any compensation for it? I’ve asked the service center and advisors there, and they said there wasn’t much they could do.

TL;DR: Vehicle broken within hours of owning it for over a week, any compensation?

Edit:
Yes I got a loaner vehicle the day after it was towed there. It was just a sucky situation and I wanted people’s opinions.

The issue was the “assembly power conversion system” which they had to order a part for and replace after not knowing the issue for the first week of it being there.

Lastly I know it’s a lease and not owning it, bad choice of words, I just put a lot of money into it after just getting out of college, and still wanted to enjoy a car.
