Friday I had the chance to take some photos of Torchia.
They played at a small venue and I really struggled with the low light situation, so that pretty much all my pictures went pretty dark, and it was a lot of work to get some of them edited and deliverable.
What settings do you use in low light venues? Like when there's mainly back light, no/sparingly used front light, and the band using fog.
Got the chance to shoot a local band on Friday.
Despite the light situation being difficult at times, it was really fun, and not too stressful as I was allowed to shoot through the whole set. And the band also was really nice, so an overall fun evening.
Trying to be a bit braver in post process with cropping to see what's possible for some more detailed/close up pictures.
What do you think of this one? Does the crop enhance the original shot?
