PCM24 -> PCM26

Tend to upgrade PCM every couple of years, last played PCM24, currently looking at PCM26.

Have watched a bunch of streamer reviews of 26, and they all seem to be really negative about it, but pretty much every reviewer also seems to be fairly jaded by the 25->26 changes.

Curious on whether to heed the reviews, or whether the changes from 24 to 26 is going to be a more positive experience.

At Diety, is taking Liberty worth it for the religion?

End of the Liberty tree obviously has a free great person.

With obtaining a religion sometimes impossible at Diety, is taking Liberty with the intent of claiming a Great Prophet and a religion underrated against the tradition open meta?

Is using break statements good coding practice?

Is using break statements good coding practice?

My background is having been taught to code in a bunch of different languages several decades ago, not done any serious coding since then, and returning to pick up the bike so to speak.

At the time it was absolutely drilled in that the use of break statements was bad practice to the point where it was an instant loss of marks - but I see break statements in plenty of example python code I have looked at.

Have conventions changed since the dark ages, or is there something about Python which makes if different from the other languages I learned?
