Hi everyone, am I the only one frustrated with the current state of the F/A-18E (and the new RAAF F/A-18F)? In real life and even in DCS, the Hornet is a "High Alpha" beast. It can literally dance at 45-60 knots (83-111 km/h) without stalling and maintain incredible nose authority.
In War Thunder, the Fly-By-Wire and the Instructor feel extremely restrictive. The plane bleeds energy like crazy but doesn't give you the "Nose Pointing" advantage it's famous for. It feels stiff and prone to unrealistic stalls.
We need Gaijin to rework the AOA limiters and the FBW logic. The "Rhino" should be able to challenge Rafales and Su-30s in a dogfight through its superior low-speed handling, not just be a missile bus.
What do you guys think? Is the FM broken or am I missing something?
