Help redesigning home-office
I've moved my furniture (mostly desk :D) multiple times but it never feels quite right. I'm trying to not buy new furniture if possible.
I've put the dimensions in the photos where needed. The furnuture is standard-sized IKEA stuff mostly.
The triangle-window is faching to the west. Downstaris there's the main hall-way. In front of the stairs there's our entry door.
I use this as my full-time home-office and also for personal "office"-stuff, thinkering, DIY-making and gaming.
I'd absolutely love the idea of a standing desk, but I guess this is not possible. Mostly I'd like to have it feel "bigger" and also have more space. Maybe even put a small fridge or a few pillows to be able to watch movies on the wall-mounted display.
The space felt bigger having the desk under the window, but that brough two disadwantages: not being able to open the window and having a open back.
I also liked having the window in th back but as there was so little pace next to the desk I always had the squeeze through between the wall and the desk to get "in". Also the "not so nice" side of my desk (cable-management) was visible from downstairs.
