Baden-Württemberg-Ticket Guide

Hey everyone! I’m planning a trip from Bahlingen to Stuttgart next month and was looking at buying a ticket through the DB app. When I searched for a same-day return, I got the option for the Baden-Württemberg-Ticket and it mentions something about “use of transport associations” being included.

My question is — does this mean I can also use local buses within Stuttgart on the same ticket? I’m planning to visit a few shops around the city and also want to get to the Mercedes-Benz Museum. Would the ticket cover bus/tram rides to get around Stuttgart, or would I need to buy a separate city ticket for that?

Palais Garnier age ticket question

I have a question about the Palais Garnier ticket categories.

I’m visiting with someone who is currently 12 years old and will turn 13 just one day after the visit. I’m a bit confused about which ticket applies in this situation.

From what I understand, the relevant categories are:

  • Children aged 12 and under: free entry (with proof of age)
  • 13–25 (Outside EEA); €20 ticket

Since the child is no longer 12 at the time of entry, would they still qualify for the free child admission, or would they need to buy the 13–25 ticket instead?

We are non-EEA visitors and will have ID/proof of age available.

Any clarification from people who have visited or know the policy would be appreciated.

May/June 2026 Session – That’s a Wrap

That’s the end of the May/June 2026 session.

Thanks to everyone who helped out during the exams, giving great feedback to revision posts, answer discussions, resources, and all the usual panic in between.

It’s been a stressful session at times, especially with leaks and everything going on, but overall things stayed manageable because of the community here.

Good luck to everyone waiting on results now.

See you in A Levels, and for those moving on, don’t forget to come back and help the next batch of juniors when you can. Even small replies or sharing resources makes a difference here.

Take a break for now, then slowly start getting back into it when you’re ready for A Levels.

Take care.
