Hello everyone,

I own a Lenovo LOQ 15IRX9 (Intel Core i5, RTX 4050, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD). I have an old HP SSD S700 M.2 250GB SSD that I removed from my previous laptop.

The SSD specifications are:

HP SSD S700 M.2 250GB

SATA III (6 Gb/s)

M.2 2280 form factor

According to the LOQ 15IRX9 specifications, it has:

Two M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 slots

Support for up to two M.2 SSDs

I would like to know whether this M.2 SATA SSD will work in the second SSD slot of the LOQ 15IRX9, or if the slots support only NVMe/PCIe SSDs.

Has anyone successfully used a SATA M.2 SSD in this model?
