This painting comes from my ongoing exploration of film stills that lose their narrative function and become autonomous structures. I’m interested in the moment when light, gesture and the relation between figures detach from storytelling and start acting as pure form. The source was a blurred cinematic frame. Stripped of context, it becomes a self‑contained composition rather than a fragment of a plot.
