2007 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.2 CRDI (D4EB) 268,000kms HELP

Hi folks,

Having some trouble with my car.
Noticed oil stains on the fins of the intercooler and engine cover; realised somebody had done a dodgy repair on a crack in the intercooler with masking tape and gorilla glue!!
Have replaced the intercooler, crank angle sensor (separate fault that came up) and oil changed to a thicker, premium oil.

Aware of the mileage and being an older diesel engine but I still feel I have excessive blow by. There was some oil in the old intercooler from the intake when I took it out. Having done some research (AI/google) it seems that I may need to do the PCV next. However, it seems that the PCV on this particular engine is incorporated into the rocker cover.

My question; Is it worth changing this ?

Car still has plenty of power. Inspected turbo when changing crank angle sensor and there is some movement in it but once again, due to age I am not surprised.
