PIP payment recalled - feeling like an idiot
I went through a serious breakup in the summer of 2025 which severely affected my mental health on top of a fibro diagnosis. I moved into shared accommodation, but found it challenging and have moved into a few different places over the past months, and then have been staying with a friend since the start of the year but I've been waiting for other friends to be free at the start of July to find a house share with them. I've been totally off the ball with updating PIP about my address because I don't have a review coming up until November this year, but they said they recalled my payment because they sent out a review form weeks ago to one of my old addresses. I was distraught on the phone because I hadn't thought anything would be coming up so far in advance considering it's only May - they have passed on my case for reconsideration but I was meant to have a payment today and it hasn't come through. I feel so stupid but I've been quite unstable with living situations that I just dropped the ball. Any thoughts or advice?
