Pls help us decide!

May scheduled grad shoot po kami sa Monday sa isang known studio sa Mabalacat, and we’re planning to go to Pampanga on Sunday na para hindi po kami magkulang sa time kinabukasan. Our main problem po is the weather. Sobrang maulan po ba sa Dau, Mabalacat Pampanga? We’re fr Batangas pa po kasi, kaya sobrang dami pa naming pagdadaanan bago makarating sa Pampanga (commute lang po kami) 😓

Should we push through po ba, or is it better to reschedule our appointment? I’m kinda scared po kasi we only have one reschedule, and our problem is hindi pa rin tumitila yung ulan. According to the weather forecast, may rain pa rin this week, and if mag-reschedule kami, we don’t know kung kailan pa aayos ang weather for this month. Sobrang tagal din po naming naghintay para lang makakuha ng slot dito huhu 🥹

Hi po! I would appreciate any tips & advice that could help me sort out my thoughts.

Hello po! Manghihingi lang po sana ako ng advice. Fresh graduate po ako, and I’m planning to work muna in the meantime since I’ll be taking the board exam next year pa naman po. I’d like to earn some extra income and gain work experience while I still have the time & opportunity (tengga lang sa bahay rn & i feel bad abt it).

Kaso, my parents want me to focus on reviewing next year, so they’re worried that I might not be able to study properly if I get hired. Sa tingin ko po, parang they don’t really want me to work pa because they’re worried about my board exam. If hindi pa naman po ako mag-board exam, they also want me to take the CSE, although I’m honestly still not sure if that’s something I want to pursue.

I can’t really decide yet, kasi I’m still figuring out what I want to do. All I know is that I really want to earn money, even if it’s just for myself, para hindi na po ako masyadong umaasa sa parents ko. They suggested that I could work for around 4 months muna, then focus on reviewing afterwards.

Honestly, gusto ko rin naman po mag-focus sa review, pero at the same time, gusto ko rin po sanang mag-work, kahit temporarily or part-time lang. I just want to gain some experience & earn for myself.

May mga employers po ba na tumatanggap ng temporary employees or part-timers, especially fresh graduates, particularly in the HR industry or ABA therapy clinics ? Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you po!

Sorry po, but can I rant for a bit so I can let go of some thoughts in my mind?

I’m a fresh BS Psychology graduate, and it’s been almost a month since I graduated. I won’t be taking the board exam this year since sinabihan na kami ng university namin na hindi daw po abot requirements namin for this year, so most probably next year pa ako makakapag-take….Honestly, I’m having second thoughts about taking it, although I know my parents really want me to go through with it. For now, all I want is to get a job. I just want to earn for myself so I won’t have to rely on my parents as much.

I started applying a few weeks before graduation through LinkedIn, Facebook groups, JobStreet, and other platforms. I’ve applied to around 30 (or more) jobs so far, but I’ve barely gotten any responses. One company did reply and invited me for an initial interview, but they never got back to me afterward.

My only experience is a one-month internship in a clinical setting, but I’m also applying for industrial/HR positions, so I understand that my experience may not be enough. What confuses me is how fresh graduates are supposed to gain experience when even “entry-level” jobs require 1–2 years of experience 🥲

I’m sorry po, I’m just really confused and have been having a lot of doubts about myself lately. I know I’m still starting out, but it’s honestly frustrating and discouraging…
