How did MS fix this fat Xbox after the red ring?

This is my original fat Xbox 360. It got the red ring pretty early in its life and went back to Microsoft to be fixed. It has worked flawlessly since then. I have read that Microsoft replaced CPU and GOU’s. That they replaced full motherboards etc. what did they actually do to this one to fix it back in the day? These are pics of the mother board the last time I had it open to clean. Are they good enough to determine what they did or would I have to pull the heat sinks? Also is this board / rev RGHable? Mod chip?
