My husband and I got in a fight on Saturday, naturally on our way to a birthday party.
We have some friends da staying with us from out of town in a month. We had to throw out an old mattress and we wanted to get a sleeper bed to have it as an office/ guest bedroom.
We then get into an argument because the way I spoke to him was “too corporate” only because I need to run logistics by my sister to borrow her truck to go to ikea. That and I was wondering when he was going to handle this as we got rid of the old bed three months ago.
I hate how I have to be a project manager in order to get things done around the house. I work 100 percent onsite, I do pick up / drop off for the kids (2 and 4 almost) as their daycare is by me, and he works remote. I hate who takes what type conversations. I know sometimes we just need to talk about who is doing what, but every time I try to take notes or whatever, it’s “this feels too much like work”.
So I would love advice on how to handle. Does anyone have money or errand type meetings? Maybe we’re in the phase of parenting where we just don’t connect often. Idk.
