Question about Ryan Gaul’s onstage phone calls

Does anyone know who he’s talking to on the other end of these calls? It’s obviously someone trained in comedy, but whoever it is has a voice that sounds so similar to Ryan’s that at first I thought he had prerecorded one half of a conversation and was interacting with that recording to “converse” with himself. I have since come to realize that’s not the case, but the identity of the speaker remains a mystery.
