Before I say what I am going to say please know that I recognize I am at fault and take most responsibility. Some I feel must be put on my friends.

Basically, to put it simply, I sent a d pic. I jokingly suggested it to one of my friends as I knew they were comfortable with that kind of joke and didn't expect nor really want anything to come of it. They said to send it to another friend first if I was going to. I, again, jokingly asked the other friend if they wanted one and they said yes. I said deadass to get confirmation of seriousness. I said deadass multiple times to each of them and gave them a "last warning" before I sent it. Every time I said deadass or the "last warning" they confirmed by replying deadass and yes or whatever back. I asked if they were sure and if they really wanted it multiple times and each time they agreed. By multiple, I mean probably 10+ times to the first friend. Each time they said yes. I asked the second friend probably ~5ish times and each time they said yes as well. So, thinking that they actually wanted it and were fine with it being sent and having asked and gotten confirmation multiple times, I sent it. After discussing among the two, they decided to block me off. One of them, speaking for both, explained their reasoning and kindly broke the news. I know I am at fault and their responses were reasonable, but I feel that they are somewhat at fault here too. The one speaking for both held up their previously established word and said they wouldn't speak of or discuss "the incident" as they called it with anyone. I haven't gotten confirmation yet but I assume the other will hold up this previously established word as well.

I don't know what I'm going to do now. These two were my main friends that I texted and one of the main groups I hang out with at school. I don't know what I'll do now. I don't know what I'm asking for, if anything, here, but I thought I should say this here for some something. Luckily, this likely won't be an unreparable issue, as I can likely get some new friends to fill in their niche. I know this sub likes to make huge copypastas out of something serious, but please don't do this here. If you must, please be funny. I have deleted the pic and deleted the conversations I had over text with each of them, as well as the gc I was in with the two of them. I don't know what I'm gonna do. I know this is likely going to be taken down but I need to say this somewhere.

TL;DR, I sent a dih pih thinking they were okay with it after getting confirmation that they were several times and they weren't.
