I know there must be other MLP collectors in my area, because whenever there’s a pony listing nearby, it seems like it sells almost instantly. I was online at the perfect time Sunday night, and managed to be the first to inquire about this lot and I’m still a little bit in shock over how lucky I got. (Set me back $100 and a 45 minute drive each way - no complaints here)

Everyone needs a good bath, there are a couple of forelock trims, and probably 10ish ponies that have initials on the bottom of the hooves, but other than that I think they’re going to restore very nicely.

Highlights for me so far are the dream beauties (I’ve never seen one in person before!) and the back cards and pamphlets. The seller didn’t have any of the paper items in the photos, so they were a total surprise. I don’t have any MOC g1s or other back cards and I love the art so much - I’m honestly thinking about putting one of the little pamphlets in a frame. Also Baby Quackers who was at the top of my wishlist for next additions.

Now, I’m sending my MP pony luck back to the universe - if you’re like me and have dreamed of finding and adopting someone’s collection, don’t lose hope! May the pony odds be in your favor! ✨

I’ve been on a self imposed baby three no-buy for about 8 months, mostly because my collection had started growing too quickly and getting a bit redundant. I promised myself it wasn’t forever, but I was going not buy, and stop following releases to cut down on the FOMO. I feel really good about the accomplishment of making it so long, and it was really satisfying making the conscious decision to break my no-buy yesterday because I found bb3 in the wild and was dying to check out these new-to-me 50% head-only babies. I loveee a bag charm, and my only real gripe with baby three is that most plush pendant varieties felt too big on my daily use purses.

Only bad news is I’m going to have to be careful because little manta here has unlocked the dangerous knowledge that the perfect baby three size of my dreams exists in many new adorable ways. 😂

I loved all the pacifiers for the Goodnight Baby collection so that was my other choice yesterday. I like my pull but I was so bummed to discover the eye mask was attached in the front. I totally get having it attached so as not to lose it, but I want to see the mask in action!

I found this beauty on my sisters farm in Ashford, County Wicklow. Last two photos are wet. Can anyone help me ID my “crashing wave” rock?
