Hello,

Does anyone else here have a mother diagnosed with borderline personality disorder who also has an eating disorder?

Mine always seems “surprised” that she has osteoporosis and other health issues, and she refuses to listen whenever we try to explain that she simply isn’t eating enough. Sometimes she looks at people in the street or even on TV and asks things like, “Do you think I’m as fat as her?” It’s becoming really difficult because the next moment she’ll go into a long monologue about how everything in her life is going wrong, and I honestly don’t know what to say anymore..
