Something I noticed in s8
So I’ve been rewatching s8 and I’ve noticed, anytime somebody expresses their sorrow or any kind of feelings, Abby immediately makes it about her. For example, when Stacey cut out lilys hair and she was like “imagine how I felt losing all my hair”, like most people would get shocked about that happening, or when Hannah cried about her grandma passing at 101 and Abby said how her parents passed in their 70/80s, like she always has to make it about herself. There’s been more things I’ve noticed that I cannot seem to remember right now and obviously the things she experienced were awful and I do not wish that on her at all, I hope she is healthy but just because you’ve experienced something worse doesn’t mean other peoples experiences don’t matter. She’s always like what about me, me, me, me!!!! Nobody else is allowed to feel upset because Abby is the only person who’s experienced anything ever, apparently.
One thing I don’t quite understand about the irreplaceables
After they left ALDC and became the irreplaceables, why did the “OG girls/moms” act superior and constantly bring it up that they were the originals? I thought the whole point of the irreplaceables was to have a new and fresh start where they all began a different team and had a new beginning? Just confused.
Currently re-watching this episode right now as an adult woman and I don’t care what anybody says, that dance is outright disgusting for teenage girls to be portraying all over national television especially. I have absolutely no issue with the dance, it would be completely okay if it were grown women doing it but 14/15 year olds? Disgusting. The intent behind it is meant to be seductive, with even their mothers encouraging them by saying to “get their sexy on.” is just outright weird and unacceptable. The mothers condoning it and fighting against Ashlee and the other mothers who are trying to warn them of the dangers they’ve just put their minor daughters in is ridiculous, because they were literally telling the truth and it was never okay to put them onstage looking like that too in those outfits. I don’t care what anyone who tries to convince themselves it’s acceptable thinks, it simply is not okay.
